Very soon international students will leave Tartu and be back to home. But in Estonia during this summer a lot of events and festivals will be held. My advice is to stay here as much as you can!

What : International Hanseatic Days in Viljandi
Where: Viljandi 81 km from Tartu
When: June, 04 – 07. From 10:00
Description: Viljandi Hanseatic Days take place annually in order to commemorate the golden age of Viljandi. In early summer, this small town gives itself over to medieval customs and looks back on how the membership of the Hanseatic League brought riches and bold ideas to the town over the course of time.
Viljandi is still a member of the Hanseatic League, and from 4 to 7 June 2015, the members of this League gather for their annual great celebration in Viljandi.
Costs: festival is free, you need money only for transportation Tartu-Viljandi-Tartu 12 euro.

What: Õllesummer / Beer Festival 2015
Where: Tallinn.
When: July 1-4
Description : The biggest open-air festival in the Baltics, attracting 60 000 people annually. The grand event will feature at least seven differently themed stages next year as well; once again, awesome artists from abroad are expected to perform on the festival’s main stage.
100 performers on 7 stages, entertainment for every age ranging from an amusement park to benji jumps. Over 50 caterers with a wide selection of foods and drinks.
Costs : tickets from 15 euro+ transportation Tartu-Tallinn-Tartu 12 euro.

What: Tartu Love Film Festival tARTuFF
Where : Tartu.
When : August 03-08.
Description : Tartu Love Film Festival tARTuFF is organised by the Black Nights Film Festival. During the festival days the guests can enjoy films on the big screen that is set up especially for the occasion on the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats).
Costs: absolutely free!
